Activating Odor-Free Feet
Sweating is something we can’t control and sometimes we can get drenched down to the feet. Luckily, we can control the odor brought by sweating, thanks to the revolutionary bamboo charcoal technology that may be infused in yarn.
For starters, bamboo charcoal, as the name states, is simply charcoal derived from bamboo. It is a natural, fragrance-free, allergen-free, and non-toxic material known for its odor absorption and deodorizing capabilities but the bamboo charcoal has other unique properties to offer.

1. Antibacterial & Antifungal
Bamboo charcoal naturally retains the antibacterial and antifungal properties it inherited from bamboo. It also possesses a bacteriostatic material which prevents bacterial metabolism and helps eliminate allergic reaction.

2. Dry & Breathable

3. Thermal Regulator
The porous nature of bamboo charcoal makes it an excellent insulator.
4. Absorbs and emits infrared energy
Don’t be daunted by the word infrared. This property simply means that due to the nanoparticles present in bamboo charcoal, they have the ability to absorb infrared energy from the environment and emit it to help cell activation, which promotes blood circulation and improves health in general.

5. Prevents static electricity build-up
Again, do not be alarmed by the word electricity. Have you ever experienced the sticking of a garment to the body or to another garment? That is what you call a static cling, which is caused by a buildup of static electricity—and this is what bamboo charcoal prevents from happening.

Earlier, we mentioned the activation of bamboo charcoal. To set things straight, activation of bamboo charcoal is done by heating the material (bamboo charcoal) at a high temperature and slowly burning it in a process called pyrolysis. It is then treated with oxygen afterwards. The process “activates” the charcoal by eliminating any molecules that it had already absorbed, thereby enhancing the absorption (capability of all solid substances to attract to their surface molecules of gases or solutions with which they are in contact) abilities of the resulting activated bamboo charcoal.
